Time to Go

Alright sports fans, enough is enough with all the NFL idiots who can't seem to stay out of bars, stay off dietary products and keep the gun at the house. After seeing the incidents of this past week, it's time for the commish to take a stance on many issues.

First, either force these companies who make and sell dietary substances to either tell the players what they are actually taking or teach these players to read. It seems very funny to me that anyone would take anything they hadn't checked out completely. In this day and age of drug testing, players have to know they will be found out if they are taking anything illegal.

Second, since when did NFL players seriously need protection? If they treat their job like most other people do, they would respect it and their bosses and not go places where they feel they need to carry protection. This past week with the Plaxico Burress situation, we are all reminded that these NFL spoiled babies need protection from nobody but themselves. This year we have seen Adam Pacman Jones get into a fight with a body guard, (babysitter provided by Jerry Jones) while Pacman was drunk. And now, Plaxico can't even keep his gun, which was in his pants, from going off and ending his season and now, possibly his career. I guess the only good side for Plaxico is that the gun wasn't a pointed in the direction of his "man" parts. Now that would have been funny!

Lastly, when is this commissioner actually going to do what he said he was going to do? Yes, he has handed out suspensions time and time again and even suspended some for a year. But enough is enough. It's time to quit slapping them with petty fines and suspensions and letting them back in. If Plaxico goes to jail, that should be it. Mike Vick should never play again and Pacman, you're lucky nobody has slapped your butt out of this league. Show respect to the players who are doing it right, to the fans and the former players. Get these idiots out of the league and send a message to all of the players and the college players looking to the NFL. If you are going to be here, you are going to be at least a decent person who can stay away from serious trouble.

If I did what Plaxico, Mike, Tank or Pacman did, I would not have a job. So, my question is why should they?
