So many have asked so here are my thoughts on the Dallas Cowboys. They suck. From the front office down to janitor and everything in between except DeMarcus Ware. Jerry Jones delivered 3 super bowl titles to the Dallas fans with a coach at the helm. But since firing Jimmmy Johnson, they have been terrible. I know, Barry Switzer won a ring with the Boys but remember, he was handed the keys to a cadillac and wrecked it his first year. They should have won 4 in a row.
But with that said, here's what I would like to see. Demote Wade Phillips to D-coordinator since that's all he does anyway and Mr. Jones, come on down, take off the tie and put on a headset and be the coach. It's obvious you want to be the head coach so just do it. Stop running poor ole Wade out there to take the ass chewing from the media and fans. The owner, gm and president should just add head coach to his title and then after 2 losing seasons, which I would love to see them go 0-16, Jones would have to fire himself. It hasn't worked for Al Davis and it won't work for you either. The Dallas Cowboys have become a laughing stock and I'm personally ready for a real coach, not some overinflated puppett.
Good luck Dallas. You're going to need it if you seriously think you are going to ever win again.

Just win them all, 2 teams did
Alright sports fans for the record, I am not a fan of the BCS, Texas, Texas Tech or Oklahoma. I do like OU better than the others but this love affair that Texas beat OU really matters is tyring. I know, I know. Texas beat Oklahoma on a neutral field but I remember sitting in the living room and watching Texas Tech beat Texas on November 1. I do realize Texas fans have a mental block on this but it's time to say, we didn't get screwed, we just didn't do what we had to do to get things to go our way (Texas was ranked 1 and Tech was 7, don't forget that). Oklahoma beat like opponents of Texas & Tech by more points and beat Missouri by 41 on a neutral field that Texas beat by 30 in Austin. I do believe the BCS had it right with putting OU in the championship game against Mizzou. It's time to get over it and wait. Texas fans, your team could still face OU again in the National Title game if Florida's win wasn't enough over Alabama. I don't think that's the way it will happen but it could very well happen that way.
But seriously, I think Boise State and Utah are really the teams getting screwed this year. All we ask in college football is for 2 teams to go through their schedules undefeated and that's what these 2 teams did. They are the ONLY 2 undefeated teams in the country and they should play for the National Title with the system we have now. It will never happen but it should happen. And I noticed that both teams played about the same type of preseason schedule that OU, Texas and Tech played.
In the age of the BCS and all the griping and whining, it seems to me that the coach who can get out more and whine to the media more gets the most attention. He puts the perception his teams is getting more screwed more than others while others are just going out and killing their opponents. I don't think there is any need to make signs with a score on them to tell us what we already know or rent planes to fly with a score on it. I think those things just make the overall team and fans look desperate and downright stupid. This is supposed to be college football, not how to Bitch and Complain 101.
Every team that's complaining this year should have done what Boise and Utah did this year. Finish every game with a WIN. Don't drop interceptions or forget to tackle a guy with no time left. Show up, especially when you're the number 2 team going to Norman. Win on a neutral field against your biggest rival and a lower ranked team. Just win and if you don't and there is a 3 way tie, live with the system the conferece set in place and YOUR coach and school voted to approve.
And the last time I checked, I haven't seen the Boise or Utah coaches doing the circut whining, printing up cards with scores on them or renting planes to complain about them getting screwed or trying to pursuade voters to go "their" way. All they did was win and that's what every 1 loss team should have done, finish all their games. Only then would you have a right to complain about getting left out.

Time to Go
Alright sports fans, enough is enough with all the NFL idiots who can't seem to stay out of bars, stay off dietary products and keep the gun at the house. After seeing the incidents of this past week, it's time for the commish to take a stance on many issues.
First, either force these companies who make and sell dietary substances to either tell the players what they are actually taking or teach these players to read. It seems very funny to me that anyone would take anything they hadn't checked out completely. In this day and age of drug testing, players have to know they will be found out if they are taking anything illegal.
Second, since when did NFL players seriously need protection? If they treat their job like most other people do, they would respect it and their bosses and not go places where they feel they need to carry protection. This past week with the Plaxico Burress situation, we are all reminded that these NFL spoiled babies need protection from nobody but themselves. This year we have seen Adam Pacman Jones get into a fight with a body guard, (babysitter provided by Jerry Jones) while Pacman was drunk. And now, Plaxico can't even keep his gun, which was in his pants, from going off and ending his season and now, possibly his career. I guess the only good side for Plaxico is that the gun wasn't a pointed in the direction of his "man" parts. Now that would have been funny!
Lastly, when is this commissioner actually going to do what he said he was going to do? Yes, he has handed out suspensions time and time again and even suspended some for a year. But enough is enough. It's time to quit slapping them with petty fines and suspensions and letting them back in. If Plaxico goes to jail, that should be it. Mike Vick should never play again and Pacman, you're lucky nobody has slapped your butt out of this league. Show respect to the players who are doing it right, to the fans and the former players. Get these idiots out of the league and send a message to all of the players and the college players looking to the NFL. If you are going to be here, you are going to be at least a decent person who can stay away from serious trouble.
If I did what Plaxico, Mike, Tank or Pacman did, I would not have a job. So, my question is why should they?
